Objective: To cultivate sincere gratitude for the unwavering love of those who raised us when we were still kids. Acknowledging their selfless sacrifices, constant support, and daily devotion. In return, we strive to reflect that love through our own acts of kindness, respect, and appreciation, showing them that their efforts are seen, valued, and deeply cherished.
Short Film: Thai Emotional Short Clip – “Believe in the Value of Gratitude”
INSTRUCTIONS: BEFORE STARTING THE ACTIVITY, MAKE SURE TO READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
Watch the Thai short clip from beginning to end, paying close attention to the emotions, actions, and relationships portrayed. After viewing, reflect on how the story resonates with you and deepens your understanding of genuine love—especially the kind that comes from parents or loved ones.
Write your reflection in your Virtual Professionals notebook, ensuring it is at least 150 words long. In your reflection, share your thoughts and feelings about the short film, focusing on how it helped you understand the depth of a mother’s love and how you can return that love in your own way. After completing your reflection, take a blank piece of paper and write a heartfelt message addressed to your mother.
If your mother has already passed away, you can still write her a letter and bring it with you when you visit her resting place.
Or you can address the letter to anyone who raised you when you were still a kid, like your father, grandparents, or any close relatives.
In this letter, express your gratitude, love, and any unspoken emotions—be honest, and sincere, and let your true feelings come through. After writing the letter, make sure to have them read it.
