Activity 61 | Storycrafting

Objective: To improve creativity, imagination, and storytelling by creating original ideas, interesting characters, and fun and engaging stories.

INSTRUCTIONS: (This is a group activity) BEFORE STARTING THE ACTIVITY, MAKE SURE TO READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.

Choose a genre: Decide on the genre for your story. You can pick any genre that inspires you, such as romance, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, or short story.

Create a title: Think of a unique and interesting title that captures the essence of your story. The title should reflect the main theme, mood, or key element of the story you plan to write.

Pick a teammate: Choose at least 3 members from the VP team that you would want to do this activity with. Make sure to write their names on your Virtual Professionals notebook.

Create a blank document: Before proceeding with this activity, create a blank Google document and rename it as Activity 61 | Storycrafting | VP Screen Name. This will serve as your notebook for conducting this activity. Also, make sure that the document is shared with everyone with the link, as you will be sharing it with the VP team.

Create your own story: After you have chosen a title and the genre for your story, begin writing that story with at least five sentences. Make sure that your story is not too short, as you will need to pass it along to your chosen 3 VP team members. Let each of them write the continuation of the story you have started. The three people you have chosen to share the story with should also share their stories with you, and you will need to continue the stories they have written. Decide who writes the story first, second, and then last. Make sure to leave your name on their output and the last person would be the one to make the ending of the story. Kindly take it seriously and make all of your stories interesting and worth reading.

Do not use ChatGPT or any AI tools to generate your output. However, you may use ChatGPT to check the grammar.

Important Note: As much as possible, do this activity when you are calm, not rushed, and when your mind is clear and relaxed. Avoid doing it during busy or stressful moments to fully benefit from the experience.
