Lift Up Your Hands – THE ASIDORS

Reflect on this: Life is a journey filled with trials and triumphs, but through it all, God remains our constant guide. In moments of doubt and weakness, His grace lifts us, reminding us that we are never alone. Even if you are not a Catholic, every challenge we face becomes an opportunity to trust Him deeper and grow in faith. His love transforms our struggles into testimonies of His goodness and power. With God, every step we take leads us closer to purpose, peace, and everlasting hope.

INSTRUCTIONS: BEFORE STARTING THE ACTIVITY, MAKE SURE TO READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.

Immerse yourself fully in the music, letting each note and lyric resonate within you. If possible, sing along while reading the lyrics, and allow yourself to be completely absorbed in the melody and the message it conveys. Let the music surround you, be at peace, and feel God’s love and presence. (Pause and reflect for at least 5 minutes before proceeding with the write-up)

In your Virtual Professionals notebook, write about a time when you felt overwhelmed by hardships and nearly lost hope, wondering if God had abandoned you. Describe the moments when you struggled to understand His plans, feeling as if everything was falling apart, and you were on the verge of giving up. Reflect on how that experience tested your faith, but also how, in the end, you found strength, understanding, or a renewed sense of trust in Him. On a piece of paper, write down all your doubts, hatred, and the pain you feel at this moment. Then, burn it as a symbolic act of letting go. Take a short video as you burn the paper as proof, and send it along with the photo of your output from your Virtual Professionals notebook. Your reflection must be at least 200 words long.

Do not use ChatGPT or any AI tools to generate your output. However, you may use ChatGPT to check the grammar.

Important Note: As much as possible, do this activity when you are calm, not rushed, and when your mind is clear and relaxed. Avoid doing it during busy or stressful moments to fully benefit from the experience.

How To Send:

Using your VP Gmail, add the SUBJECT line: Activity 55: Savior And Strength | VP Screen Name, and take a photo/s of your output and change the photo’s file name according to the sequence of the pages in your Virtual Professionals notebook. For example: Activity 55 (1), Activity 55 (2). Send it to info.virtualprofessionals@gmail.com and CC michelle.virtualprofessionals@gmail.com along with the short video you’ve taken.

Goal: Through this reflection, we can see how difficult moments are not just obstacles but opportunities to build a deeper connection with God. As we look back on our struggles, we begin to understand that every challenge has a purpose, shaping our faith and resilience. In the end, these experiences teach us valuable lessons, helping us grow spiritually, trust His timing, and find renewed hope even in the darkest times.
