Activity 26 | Boundaries Crossed

Objective: To emphasize the importance of following workplace rules to promote professionalism, fairness, and order. Adhering to policies fosters trust, minimizes conflicts, and supports the success of the organization and its team members.

VP Article: Understanding the Importance of Standard Operating Procedures for VAs

INSTRUCTIONS: BEFORE STARTING THE ACTIVITY, MAKE SURE TO READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.

Use Loom to record yourself while reading the article aloud. You may split the reading into as many recordings as necessary. Afterward, reflect on a moment where you violated a rule or law and faced significant consequences for your actions. It can either be at work or anywhere. Think about how that experience affected you, what lessons you learned from it, and how it shaped your behavior moving forward. Write your realization in your Virtual Professionals notebook and be as honest as you can, and make sure your output is composed of at least 200 words.

Do not use ChatGPT or any AI tools to generate your output. However, you may use ChatGPT to check the grammar.

Important Note: As much as possible, do this activity when you are calm, not rushed, and when your mind is clear and relaxed. Avoid doing it during busy or stressful moments to fully benefit from the experience.

How To Send: 

Using your VP Gmail, add the SUBJECT line: Activity 26: Boundaries Crossed | VP Screen Name, and take a photo/s of your output and change the photo’s file name according to the sequence of the pages in your Virtual Professionals notebook. For example: Activity 26 (1), Activity 26 (2). Send it to info.virtualprofessionals@gmail.com and CC michelle.virtualprofessionals@gmail.com along with the Loom recording link/s. 

Before sending the Loom recording, make sure to update the title of your recording. The file name should match the subject line of your email. If you have multiple recordings, include a number to indicate the sequence.
