Activity 18 | Building Great Leaders

Objective: To gain a deeper understanding of the essential qualities that makes a great leader. Focusing on key traits that contribute to effective leadership and nurturing these qualities within the team.

VP Article: How To Take Initiative At Work And Create A Great Impression

INSTRUCTIONS: BEFORE STARTING THE ACTIVITY, MAKE SURE TO READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.

Use Loom to record yourself while reading the article aloud. You may split the reading part into as many recordings as necessary. In your Virtual Professionals notebook, list 5 core qualities of a great leader. Then, create a pyramid categorizing them from minor qualities to the most important core trait at the top. Take a look at this example. Explain why each quality is important to being a great leader. Your answer should be composed of a minimum of 200 words.

Do not use ChatGPT or any AI tools to generate your output. However, you may use ChatGPT to check the grammar.

Important Note: As much as possible, do this activity when you are calm, not rushed, and when your mind is clear and relaxed. Avoid doing it during busy or stressful moments to fully benefit from the experience.

How To Send: 

Using your VP Gmail, add the SUBJECT line: Activity 18: Building Great Leaders | VP Screen Name, and take a photo/s of your output and change the photo’s file name according to the sequence of the pages in your Virtual Professionals notebook. For example: Activity 18 (1), Activity 18 (2). Send it to info.virtualprofessionals@gmail.com and CC michelle.virtualprofessionals@gmail.com along with the Loom recording link/s. 

Before sending the Loom recording, make sure to update the title of your recording. The file name should match the subject line of your email. If you have multiple recordings, include a number to indicate the sequence.
